Our rates vary by the project. Email us directly at info@crazednovelist.com for information concerning rates. It is best to submit your sample for a quote on the services page to get an accurate quote.

What genres do you work in?

We work in a variety of genres. The following is a short, but inexhaustive list of what we work with:

Fiction: contemporary, magical realism, fantasy, sci-fi, gameLit RPG, horror, historical fiction, romance, thriller/suspense, comic books/graphic novels, etc.

Nonfiction: History, science, memoir, autobiography, pop culture, general nonfiction, etc.

TV/Film: TV pilots, short films, and feature films

Video games: cutscenes, triggered dialogue, etc.

How do I know if I need an editor?

If you have just finished a novel, short film script, TV pilot script, or feature film script, you may want an editor to look at the earliest stages of the piece to spot errors in plot, issues with mood/tone, and other potential areas of frustration.
 
It is best to obtain feedback from beta readers first and then obtain developmental editing prior to a line or copyediting phase. However, each book is different.

With unfinished works, we do provide coaching and ghostwriting services to help you cross the finish line with your book.

What is your turnaround on projects?

Turnaround greatly depends on how much work has been done on the project beforehand, how long the project is in length, and what other tasks we must complete in conjunction with completing your project (reading materials, researching, etc.)

Does my work need to be finished before you see it?

We cannot work on projects that are not complete. Please only submit completed manuscripts and screenplays (for editing and publishing services).
